Venetian Villas

A unique cultural and landscape element

Bassano del Grappa can be an excellent starting point for a tour of the famous Venetian Villas scattered throughout our territory.

They are a true architectural heritage: designed by Palladio, frescoed by Veronese or Tiepolo and once inhabited by the Venetian nobles of the Serenissima Republic, the Venetian Villas are a unique cultural and scenic element.

Rising from the end of the 15th century until the beginning of the Napoleonic period and present throughout the region, their beauty is particularly concentrated in certain areas such as the area along the Riviera del Brenta, between Venice and Treviso along the Terraglio, in the hills of Vicenza, Padua, Treviso and Verona.
