Palladio's cities and Renaissance villas.
It is known as the city of Palladio, due to the architect Andrea Palladio, who realised numerous works there in the late Renaissance, and is one of the most important places of art in the Veneto region.
Thanks to its architecture and monuments, the city was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, of which the Palladian villas of Veneto have also been part since 1996.
