A warm and welcoming atmosphere
Villa Lovi is located a few steps from the centre of Bassano del Grappa, at the foot of Monte Castellano and immersed in the emerald green of the surrounding hills.
It is the result of the skilful restoration of the old Villa Brocchi Colonna, which belonged to the family of the same name and was used as a hospital during the war. Its park was an attractive setting for the spring ‘Flower Festival’ for ten years.
The area is rich in history: in the grounds surrounding the Villa, in fact, the remains of a 10th-century B.C. tomb were found, now preserved in the Bassano civic museum. Nearby is the small church of San Giorgio, dating back to the Longobard era and donated by the Brocchi Colonna family to the parish of Sant’Eusebio.
Comfortable and attractive paths lead to the small ‘Gemma Ecological Oasis’ of high naturalistic value with plant species that have disappeared elsewhere and wonderful landscapes.
